In my current role at Jagex I head up and run large scale projects within the environment team. I time cost, plan and prioritise work for several artists who will be working on a project with me. I often need to solve cross team problems in high pressure environments so it is important that I can remain focused and communicate with other teams. I can see the bigger picture and see how a small job may impact a project and how this may affect other teams. This allows me to keep developers focused on their tasks while I work out the details with other stakeholders on the project. I mentor and train new members of the team and I also work closely with the tools team to develop our in house proprietary level editing software.

Stand Out Project

• Clans Headline UpdateI led development within the art team for the largest headline update for RuneScape to date. The clans project was the headline update for the year and had a development time of 14 months. I worked closely with several teams ranging from design, engine, community management, QA, audio and marketing from pre production through to release. I had over thirty people within the graphics team working on the project with me. It was my responsibility to time cost and plan every element of the project within the art team from a modelling standpoint. I delegated out work within the team taking into consideration priority and dependencies for different departments. I reviewed and assessed every asset of the project while reacting and adapting to any changes in the core aims of the project. I delivered the project on timeand to budget.
